In terms of core components, the rock breaker boom system's cylinder configuration is excellent. The boom cylinder adopts D140/95-2 specification, the double-cylinder design provides sufficient power for the lifting and lowering of the boom and ensures that it can still operate flexibly under heavy loads; the boom cylinder adopts D150/105-1 model, the larger bore gives the boom powerful telescopic force and allows it to accurately control the working range; and the hammer cylinder adopts D135/90-1, which can provide stable and highly efficient impact energy to meet the needs of high-intensity operations such as crushing. The rock breaker boom system has a proven track record in stationary gyratory crushing scenarios, such as the Lafarge project and the Santiago project.


In the Lafarge project, the rock breaker boom system mainly handles limestone material with a density of 2.7t/m³. The maximum working radius of the boom system is 11m, and it needs to deal with 100 times a day large materials, which have a maximum lump size of 700mm and need to be less than 500mm after crushing. meanwhile, it is also configured in the feeding port of gyratory crusher, specializing in dealing with oversized large materials, assisting the crusher to feed, and effectively guaranteeing the smooth operation of the gyratory crusher. The rock breaker boom system is the main auxiliary equipment for the gyratory crusher at the Mountain Iron Ore project.
